Ep 28: Pivoting from Institutional to Family Business with Cole Strandberg

Episode #28

Family businesses can face significant common challenges. They are dealing with problems of generational wealth, an increasingly challenging business environment, and business models growing in complexity.

Cole Strandberg, an investment banker and host of podcast "The Collision Vision,” joined his family’s business within the automotive aftermarket as a second generation partner after spending his early career at a boutique investment bank. He opens up to podcast host Jaclyn Beck about his transition from institutional to family business, earning respect and managing perception while growing up in an organization, transitioning from owner to employee post-company acquisition, picking the right partners, and scaling.
